Shahmaran (Snake Queen)

Shahmaran is a legendary creature that has been passed down from generation to generation throughout Türkiye, Iran, and Iraq.
A wise and kind-hearted snake queen who remained devoted to the human man she fell in love with. 
In the southeastern part of Türkiye it is displayed on the walls.
In this work, the artist's interpretation of Shahmaran is surrounded by snakes, roses, and inverted tulips that grow wild in southeastern Türkiye.
