Judas Tree

One late spring, in a villa along the Bosphorus, where the waves gently swayed, 
I was listening to a round dance played cheerfully by the Judas-tree flowers.
The flowers whispered to me as they danced, twirling and twirling.
"Summer is coming. Summer is coming."
Seagulls were dancing in the sky.
