Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. has been recognized for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change by global environmental non-profit CDP, securing a place on its annual 'A List' for the second consecutive year.
CDP holds the largest environmental database in the world, and CDP scores are widely used to drive investment and procurement decisions towards a zero carbon, sustainable and resilient economy. More than 2,100 companies responded, including more than 24,800 companies worldwide and more than 70% of companies listed on the Prime Market in Japan. MOL was selected for the 'A List', the highest ranking among the companies.
The MOL Group has identified five 'Sustainability Issues (Materiality)' as important challenges for achieving sustainable development together with society through the realization of our group vision, and based on the 'MOL Sustainability Plan', we are promoting initiatives to solve environmental and other issues.
