Japan’s Ambassador to Ankara, Katsumata Takahiko, visited Hatay, which was affected by the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, and examined the relief efforts in the region. As part of his program, Ambassador Katsumata visited the donation of containers organized by MOL Turkey with the support of Japanese companies and local stakeholders.

These containers, set up in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay, were donated to provide temporary living and business spaces for tradespeople and families affected by the earthquake. Ambassador Katsumata met with the tradespeople operating in the containers, gathered information about their business processes, and listened to the challenges they faced.
